About Healthcare & Nursing work in South Africa
Healthcare hiring splits between provincial departments, which recruit on structured notch systems, and the private hospital groups that hire more or less continuously. Registration is non-negotiable: SANC for nursing, HPCSA for allied professions, and neither will shortlist you without it. Keep your annual practising certificate and your CPR or BLS cards current, because expired documents stall an application at the screening stage regardless of how strong the rest of your file is.
