About Marketing & Media work in South Africa
Marketing work in South Africa splits three ways: in-house brand teams, agencies clustered in Rosebank and on the Atlantic Seaboard, and the fast-growing performance marketing side. Employers want evidence that you can move a number, which is why Meta and Google Ads certification, analytics literacy and a campaign portfolio count for more than a communications degree on its own. Bring one case study with before-and-after figures to an interview. It consistently outweighs a CV that simply lists the tools you have used.
This role is listed without a fixed province, which usually means it is remote, it covers a national territory, or the employer hires countrywide. Remote South African roles still generally require you to be resident in the country and to hold valid work authorisation.
