JobsJunction does not offer Facebook Login, and our Facebook app does not collect or store personal information about individual Facebook users. This page explains what the app does hold, and how to ask us to delete anything you believe we hold.
What the JobsJunction Facebook app does
The app connects to the JobsJunction Facebook Page so that job listings published on jobsjunction.co.za can be posted to that Page. It authenticates as the Page itself. It does not ask anyone to log in with Facebook, and it does not read your profile, friends, email address, photos or posts.
What we hold
Nothing that identifies you. We do not collect Facebook user IDs, and we store no data tied to an individual Facebook account. The only Facebook credential we hold is a Page access token for our own Page, which belongs to JobsJunction and not to any user.
How to request deletion
Email jobsjunction@wildlogic.co.za with the subject line “Data deletion request”. Tell us the Facebook account or email address you are asking about, and what you believe we hold. Sending that email is the only step needed.
What happens next
We acknowledge every request within 5 working days. If we hold data about you, we delete it and confirm in writing within 30 days. If we hold nothing, we tell you that in writing, which closes the request.
How you will know it is done
You receive a written confirmation by email when the request is closed. There is no status page to check, because every request is handled and confirmed by email.
Exceptions
We may keep records where the law requires it – for example records needed for tax or accounting purposes. If that applies to your request, we will tell you which records and why.
Removing the app yourself
You can review or remove any app’s access to your Facebook account at any time in Facebook under Settings & Privacy, then Settings, then Apps and Websites.
